Investors in People – small business award winner!
In June 2020, Pathways CIC were awarded Investors in People (IIP) GOLD. We have, over the past 6 years, progressed from a non-accredited organisation, to Bronze, Silver and now to GOLD. Our ambition is now set on working towards PLATINUM over the next three years. Our assessment in June 2020, resulted in the business being scored as 139th out of 1844 IIP organisations in a full cross-sector group of organisations employing 1-49 people and for the Social Work Activities aspect, including charities sector in a similar size banding, and an impressive 9th place out of a sector/size band total of 142 IIP organisations.
Furthermore, and as a result of it’s assessment/achievements, Pathways CIC were shortlisted and awarded the ‘Small Business of the Year Award’ 2020 at the Investors in People virtual award ceremony in November 2020.
Remarkable achievement
The award gave recognition to what is a remarkable achievement for the business given what has been an incredibly difficult year for all. We can only thank our team for their contributions to their work and this award.
It has been a test of the organisation’s resolve over the past 3 years to get to this stage, and it is through the support and investment from each member of staff which has enabled Pathways CIC to achieve its goal – it is a real demonstration of the commitment on all fronts.
In moving from bronze award to gold in just 6 years shows the ambition of the organisation and our people.
